We are proud to announce that three out of our four candidates for State Representative in Michigan won their primary elections last night.
- Stephanie Chang (6th District, Detroit) would be the first Asian American woman to serve in the state legislature.
- Jon Hoadley (60th District, Kalamazoo) would be the only LGBT member of the legislature.
- Kristy Pagan (21st District, Canton) would increase the number women, and especially young women in state office.
Rebecca Thompson (1st District, Detroit) was just 500 votes shy of a victory last night.
Founded in 2014, LaunchProgress Political Action Committee (PAC) believes in supporting young, ambitious candidates who build a new foundation of national progressive leaders and a progressive platform to create change that will ripple changes far beyond a single election. We provide support through direct contributions as well as volunteer services, like phone banking and policy support.
We are proud of our Michigan candidates who are working hard to create change in their communities. We are looking forward to continuing to support their work to move Michigan forward.
