He has previously worked for campaigns throughout North Carolina, including Elaine Marshall for US Senate, Doug Berger for NC Senate, and Marcus Brandon for US Congress. A native of High Point, Cecil graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he majored in political science.

A student of East Carolina University, Uriah is active in state and local Democratic organizations.

Christie’s family roots start in the West End community where both her parents were born and raised. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and founder of Records Requests, a legal support company. As a field representative for for the Cincinnati Federation of Teachers and a Commissioner on the City of Cincinnati Planning Commission and the Chair of the City of Cincinnati Human Services Advisory Committee, Christie is also a key community leader who has also served numerous civic organizations.

He was previously elected student body president of the Ohio State University. Born and raised in Blue Ash, Micah graduated with a degree in economics and received his law degree and masters in public policy all from the Ohio State University.

A city councilman in Elyria since 2009, Marcus also works for Big Brothers Big Sisters. He learned the importance of hard work from his mother, who worked two or three jobs at a time to make ends meet and provide Marcus with the resources necessary to succeed. He is committed to providing families with opportunities for success by supporting job growth, protecting the rights of public employees, and providing children with an amazing education. Marcus pledges to enact policies that support the middle-class, strengthen Ohio’s communities, and grow its economy.
